We offer a wide variety of fun, engaging, and inspiring Creative Retreats. A listing of monthly pre-planned workshop descriptions and prices will be posted here BUT, if you would like to create your own “Creative Gathering”  with your special people (family/friend groups, coworkers, Sunday School class, Birthday Celebration, office Christmas Party, Bridal Party, Girl’s Night Out, etc.) please send us a message at thehartzellhomestead@gmail.com or call Sharla at 479.264.7184 – we’d love to host your special gathering. Prices vary by event and theme but begin as low as $20/person. Listed below are just a few fun ideas.

From Family & Friend Fellowship to Quilting Bees (paint-by-line style or needle and thread):

• Friendship Quilt – We’ll begin by choosing matching quilt squares (12″ or 16″). Each participant chooses a unique paint color, passing the quilt squares around during the party and adding their color to the design, a finished block is created with everyone’s individual color! What a fun, beautiful keepsake and creative memory! Before the party is complete, everyone signs the back with their color swatch as a finishing touch!
• Paint Your Own Quilt Square – Each participant will choose from one of our precut quilt blocks (12″ or 16″) and finish it in your choice of colors. (If booked two weeks in advance, matching quilt squares can be ordered so everyone is doing the same design.)
• Themed Gathering – Ready to paint a seasonal door hanger? or Christmas decor? or Quilt Squares? If booked two weeks in advance, we can special order from thousands of pieces to fit your fun or seasonal theme!
• Bible Journaling – Do you love to spend creative time in the Word? We offer a wide variety of Bible Journaling workshops that can be adapted to your small group gathering!
• Sew Crafty Projects from table runners to tote bags and quilt blocks to finished quilt tops, we can find the perfect Quilting Bee project for your group!
